Who is Collective Escape?
Collective Escape is a community of people working in the visual arts. The members are united by their history of technical professions, but are diverse in their backgrounds and other interests, and the ways in which their artistic sides express themselves.
Our Goals
- Learning: Collective Escape members want to get better at what they do by working alongside other people who work in similar mediums. They want to get and give feedback and advice and hone their crafts.
- Accountability: Structuring our work around regular group shows gives members a framework to create within and provides some external accountability.
- Motivation: Motivating yourself as an artist is especially tough when you work alone! Members give and provide friendly support to each other, pick-me-ups when they're feeling defeated and celebration for successes.
- Exposure: Together, the group aims to find productive and novel ways to share their art.
